A ambos lados se levanta la ciudad como si fuera una gran decoración de teatro, Pero en ella no hay casas; solamente gente. Norberto percibe a las figuras y a su entorno sin doblar la cabeza,por el rabillo del ojo; por lo tanto de "chanfle".No son visiones. Son sensaciones visuales. En ellas están presentes realidades y mitos urbanos a través de la sensibilidad de un transeúnte que no quiere detenerse y se hace un poco el distraído para salvarse de que aquel monstruo llamado "Metrópolis" lo coma.
